Listing Description From Seller

				For sale is my 2018 VW GTI SE, which I purchased new from Shearer VW South Burlington in October 2018. I have maintained the car carefully and it is in good shape. It has served as my daily till now and I love it, the only reason I am selling is I am moving and will need a bigger car.  This car is an ideal daily. It is fast enough to be fun, handles very sharply, but isn't hard and uncomfortable like some of its competitors. It manages to combine pretty much every thing you would want in a daily driver in a very reasonable compromise. It is quick, comfortable, well built, gets fantastic mileage (I average ~28-30 mpg in mixed driving, and can get near 40 on the highway if I try).  This is the SE trim, so it comes with the bigger infotainment screen, bigger wheels and brakes, a sunroof, and LED lights. It does not have the leatherette seats that some SE's have, it has the plaid cloth ones (which are way cooler).  The biggest plus of this car vs. buying a new GTI is 2018 and 2019 GTI's came with the "VW People First Warranty", which has 6 year/72000 mile bumper to bumper coverage. It is transferrable to the buyer, so whoever buys this still has ~3.5 years or 48000 miles of warranty coverage, so if any issues were to pop up you would be covered for a long time. This warranty was scrapped by VW for 2020 and newer cars (now its 4 years/48000 miles).  I have had only 2 issues with the car. One was a actuator gear for the cars heater was not fully inserted from the factory, which caused some heating issues for a while. That was fixed under warranty. The second is the turbocharger in these has an electronically actuated wastegate, which can sometimes get sticky. Mine did that, and when it happens VW does not replace just the actuator but the whole turbo. In the carfax it says the turbo was replaced, so thats why. It did not do any damage to the engine, the car just wouldn't make boost for a while. The turbo was replaced at 22000 miles, so its pretty much brand new.
